Lodge Rules

 

1. Keys are to be collected from the main reception after 4pm on day of arrival,the number for the main gate will be sent to you before your stay please remember to return the keys to the key safe  by 10 am on the day of departure
2. Hairdryer in the draw in bedroom
3. Parking, there are two dedicated parking bays with electric car charging facilities outside your lodge.
4. The kitchen has a gas hob NO FRYING ALLOWED IN LODGES  there will be a air fryer in every lodge , electric oven, microwave, dishwasher, and washing machine ( all manuals are at the back of the information pack ).
5. Cooker hood, it is worth using this to avoid excess steam , just switch it on when using the hob
6. The T.V. has Netflix for you to enjoy
7. The Wi-Fi code for your lodge is provided in the information manual.
8. Lodge heating and hot water are powered by a gas combi boiler so it may take a few minutes for the heat to come The heating in your lodge is by radiators the thermostat is set at 21 degrees which we find is a comfortable temperature for your lodge.
9. The boiler is in the utility room please do not touch the settings under any circumstances if you have any issues please ring reception.
10. The electricity fuse box is in the walk-in  wardrobe in the master bedroom  should any of the switches trip.To operate the fire in the lounge just pull the handle on the front switches inside.
11. In the bathroom only toilet paper is to be flushed down the toilet in keeping with the rural plumbing that is in place, wipes, in particular, can cause havoc so please do not put them in the toilet use the bins provided. 
12. Decking, it is important to know that decking can become slippery when wet or leaves from the surrounding trees fall so please be careful. 
13. SECURITY, we don’t have any specific issues at lakeside but we do ask that when you are out that you please check that you have closed all windows and patio doors and main doors are locked. Better to be safe than sorry.
14. Dogs,  we have lots of woodland walks for your dogs to enjoy here at Lakeside Luxury Lodges, please keep your dogs on a lead at all Please ensure dogs are kept off the furniture and beds do not let your dog bark excessively outside the lodge. There are plenty of dog poop bins on site. thank you. Regrettably, any damage caused must be paid for.    
15. Rubbish,  please take your rubbish to the collection area near your lodge
16. Longer bookings, if you are staying at lakeside longer than a week we will arrange a time that is suitable for you so that we can pop in to change the bedding, towels, and clean for you.
17. Please always be respectful of your neighbours here at Lakeside Luxury Lodges it is quiet time after 11 pm.
18. Smoking, vaping and candles are not allowed inside the lodge you may use them on the decking with care.
19. We have provided a barbeque on the decking for your use please leave this as you would like to find it thank you.
20. ON YOUR ARRIVAL A £150.00 SECURITY DEPOSIT WILL BE TAKEN

 The lodge will have a full inspection when you depart from your stay, any damage or breakages must be paid for ,if  you need to let us know before you leave please contact carol on reception on 07772318661

Fishing Rules

 

1. No night fishing.
2. No Braided lines including hook links.
3. No ground bait or boilies
4. No surface fishing.
5. Maximum 2 rods per person
6. All fish to be landed in large nets, no keep nets allowed.
7. Must have valid fishing licence
8. No unattended rods.
9. Use first aid antiseptic spay to any cuts or damage to the fishes body or mouth
10. Hook size 12-14, barbless hooks only.
11. Landing nets to be dipped in disinfectant bins around site before fishing.
12. Breaking strain 14lbs ish
13. Excess bait to be taken home not thrown in the lake.
14. No cat or dog meat/food to be used as bait.
15. Fish cradle/bath must be used
16. When using a method feeder it needs to be free running not elasticated and the hook line length min 6 inches.
